California Lightworks Solar System 550 LED Grow Light Fixture 400 watts - Review
A game-changer in indoor growing, the solar system 550 grow light is small but powerful. Its light output is higher than that of much larger LED grow lights and it easily replaces a 600-watt HPS lamp. While the grow light is perfect for the vegetative and blooming stages, it can be used in all phases of plant growth. It covers a 3ft x 4ft grow bed during the flowering phase and a 6ft x 8ft during the vegetative phase. The grow light has a fully programmable spectrum, but to program the spectrum you have to get the Solar System controller which is sold separately. But the good news is you can still switch between the vegetative and flowering modes manually without the controller.
Osram LEDs – which are highly efficient – power the light and it draws 400 watts of actual power. The LEDs, and the cooling fans which keep the light cool, have an average lifespan of 50,000 hours.
- Programmable spectrum control for best results in all phases of growth, Local support and grow room design
- Covers a 3 X 4 area in bloom and up to 6 X 8 area in veg, Bulletproof active heat management
- High Power Osram LEDs – 400 watts actual draw at full power, Lightweight and easy to install – only 13 pounds
- 50,000 hour LEDs – Never change bulbs again, Automatic voltage regulation – 90 – 277 volts
- Low heat output – No ducting required, 50,000-hour water resistant fans, UL listed
California Light Works Solar Flare 220w LED Grow Light - Review
One of the brightest lights in its class, this 220WLED grow light is made up of 72 high flux Osram SSL LEDs. Each of the LEDs is placed at an angle of 80 degrees to ensure the light spread is at its best. This also allows for the light to be discharged evenly for a healthier, richer yield. The LEDs make the light very efficient, it only pulls 165W while delivering 220W.The light's popularity and wide usage is due to its compact design that works well with a 2ft x 2ft grow bed. Its aluminum casing and superior cooling features ensure the LEDs have a long lifespan. Just like other grow lights by California Lightworks, it uses wide input LED drivers and can be used on any electrical grid with the right outlet plug. But the light has one major downside: Its price. We feel it is very high for the coverage it offers.

Commercial Led Lighting System - California Lightworks Solar System 550 - Review
The innovative Solar System 550 will change the way you run your indoor grow operation. While it is small in size, it produces more light than bigger LED grow lights and can substitute a 600-watt HPS light. It is powerful enough for the vegetative and the flowering phases and has a fully programmable spectrum. The manufacturer provides the Solar System controller which you need to adjust the spectrum (as well as other useful items). At full power, the light draws 400 watts. If you want to illuminate a large grow bed, get several units. You will drastically reduce energy usage and eliminate the need to change bulbs as the Osram LEDs used have a lifespan of 50,000 hours. The light’s water-resistant fans also have the same lifespan and ensure it runs cool at all times. But if you don’t have $1000 to spend on a grow light, you may want to look at other lights.- Programmable spectrum control for best results in all phases of growth, Local support and grow room design

California Lightworks Solar System UVB 120-240V - Review
BRAND NEW for 2018 ! If you already have powerful grow lights and all you’re looking for is a supplemental light, this one will do. It emits UVBlight (285-315nm). UVB light promotes photomorphogenesis and boosts production of flavonoids, antioxidants, and other natural sunscreen compounds. The light also increases production of Cannabidiol (CBD) and Tetrahydrocannabinol(THC) in cannabis plants. To increase resin development and crop potency, use this light during the last weeks of blooming. Like some of the other lights we've reviewed here, it works with the Solar System controller which is sold separately. Once you add the light, your plants will grow strong and healthy, have a better aroma, and their chemical profiles will improve.
But since it is a supplemental light, you may want to look at the other options if you need a grow light that can illuminate plants for an entire grow cycle. You must also use it with caution and its strong light must not touch your skin or eyes.
- The SolarSystem features the latest generation high output UVB T8 fluorescent bulbs as well as the most versatile control system on the market. This system is perfect for a single light in a tent or several hundred lights in a large commercial operation.
- •Used during the last few weeks of flowering 25 watts
- •Piggy back design offers multiple light installation from a single outlet
- •Works with the Solar System Controller
- •T8 Florescent Improves resin development and potency
